Privacy Policy

Effective July 27, 2026. shopjack.ca and the jack brand are operated by Jack Irvine. In this Privacy Policy, 'Shopjack' means Jack Irvine operating the site. Privacy questions, complaints, and requests can be sent to contact@shopjack.ca.

We collect information you provide or that is generated when you use the storefront, including your name, email address, shipping address, cart and order details, and any support messages you send us. Payments are processed through Stripe or PayPal, and Shopjack does not store your full payment-card number or PayPal login credentials. After checkout, the selected payment provider and related service providers keep transaction records, and Shopjack may also retain order records such as your email address, customer name, amount paid, currency, shipping address, payment-provider reference, order timestamp, and fulfillment status.

In production, Shopjack uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. During checkout, the site also uses the shipping country and postal or ZIP code you enter to calculate shipping and update the quoted shipping total before payment is completed. We use collected information to run the storefront, process and fulfill orders, calculate shipping, respond to support requests, maintain records, improve performance, and protect the site against misuse.

If you choose to sign up for drop announcements when that optional feature is available, Upstash holds your pending email address, consent version and source, and request time for up to 24 hours while you confirm. After confirmation, Resend receives your email address and consent properties, including the request and confirmation times, for announcement delivery and topic preferences. You can withdraw consent through the provider-managed unsubscribe or preference link, or by contacting contact@shopjack.ca. A saved provider URL or configuration does not prove that subscription, withdrawal, or delivery works; those behaviours must be verified before this optional feature is enabled.

We may share information with service providers that help run the storefront, including Stripe, PayPal, Vercel, Upstash when order-storage tooling is configured, and related infrastructure providers. These providers may process or store information outside your province, state, or country. We do not sell your personal information for cash. Support information, and any order records Shopjack retains directly, are kept only as long as reasonably needed for fulfillment, recordkeeping, security, tax, accounting, and legal compliance, and we use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold.

You may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask for correction of inaccurate information, ask how it has been used or disclosed, withdraw consent for future use where that is legally and contractually possible, or request deletion or anonymization where lawful. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep information where retention is required or permitted by law. We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version on this page.
